Description
Another fanart this time from the game Warcraft tFT.
I based the subject mainly from in-game polygonal sprites of a "human" sorceress, more commonly known here as the DotA character Lina the Slayer.
Some differences of my version to the in-game version: 1) the hair, in-game she only have a short bob in front: 2) in-game she doesn't wear (I think) leg armor, but I opted to give her that : 3) if you'll zoom in on the sprites you'll see that she have some strap-like-something in front of her belly which I didn't like

Not a hard piece- if you're already good at picking the right color and color shades- which I am not~ hehehehe~ this is the deviation that took me the longest time to complete so far. Part of the reason is because I used a lot of processes/ techniques which I am not familiar with.

stats (time):
1.sketch on paper = 15mins (or less)
2.inking = 15mins (or less)
3.digital inking = around 10hours (no joke)
4.digital coloring = between 10 to 13hours
5.choosing the right colors = around 2hours
So that about more around 25hours, give or take 1.5hr
Add various household chores and occasional baby-sitting and you get a 5-day-deviation
*I wish 'they' would just give me more time to just draw and 'be artistic'.*

original digital canvas size of 8x12" on 600 dpi
Adobe Photoshop CS2 + Bamboo Fun + Mouse (during digital inking)

I find the pen tool easier to use with a mouse than a tablet, still it took me THAT long to complete the lineart, I guess that's because I've never used that tool before this deviation.
The background only took me around 10 to 15mins. (maybe less)
Same with the flames.
